I remember when AI (ah-ee) was a South America, three-toed sloth, and a word that would save your bacon in Scrabble.

AI (ay-i) today has been delivered onto the scene after a 75-year gestation period, the offspring of massive-scale computing starting with ENIAC and a gene pool loaded with brainiacs.

What will it grow up to be?

We have been asking a key question for a long time? “How many monkeys using Google typewriters would it take to reproduce the works of Shakespeare and how long would it take them?

Imagination always precedes creativity which precedes technology. Will AI ever have imagination?
